A LETTER FROM PASTOR MARC & IRENA

Jesus Christ the same yesterday, and today, and forever. Heb 13:8

With that in mind we keep our eyes fixed firmly on Him and His goodness knowing that He wants to bless the Church so that the Church is able to be a witness to His Glory and Might. God is looking for men and women to make themselves available to used by God and move in the supernatural.

The true church needs to be positioned to grow and nurture people in their relationship with God and not become a replacement for that relationship, but it is out of that relationship that an appetite and hunger for the supernatural will develop. Once people stop looking at themselves and their abilities and put their focus and trust in a God that loves them then God will be able to put the Super over their natural.

God has never called anyone “qualified”, but calls men made in His image to believe in His word and have faith in Him.

Rom 4:5 But to him who does not work but believes on Him who justifies the ungodly, his faith is accounted for righteousness, 6 just as David also describes the blessedness of the man to whom God imputes righteousness apart from works:
       7 “ Blessed are those whose lawless deeds are forgiven,
      And whose sins are covered;
       8 Blessed is the man to whom the LORD shall not impute sin.”

 It’s through Faith in God and His word that we begin to flourish and grow toward the relationship He has called us to,  It is not as the religious body would believe through the following of a set of codes and laws. Faith in God and His love will eventually produce in us the right actions in terms of the way we walk in life , but if we fail to understand that bad fruit in our actions is nothing more than a lack of the love of God then we will begin to judge others and ourselves by a set of human standards which in turn will lead us further from a loving God.

 Rom 2:3 And do you think this, O man, you who judge those practicing such things, and doing the same, that you will escape the judgment of God?  ? 4 Or do you despise the riches of His goodness, forbearance, and longsuffering, not knowing that the goodness of God leads you to repentance?

 In saying all this I am trying to say, if we truly begin to love God because we first understand how much He loves us then we will begin to bear the fruit of that love. We will no longer need to strive to “become” what God wants us to be but simply begin to walk in who we truly are. It is the love of God that causes men to repent, repentance unlike we tend to believe is to turn to return to a loving God, to believe in His goodness and love.

  1 John 4:15 Whoever confesses that Jesus is the Son of God, God abides in him, and he in God. 16 And we have known and believed the love that God has for us. God is love, and he who abides in love abides in God, and God in him.

 All this we believe is the mission and commission of Life Church in the Isle of Man, to help ordinary people discover a loving and living God who thinks well of them all the time and desires only the best for His children. We believe that as a body of people led by God we are called to seek, knock The Way, Together.
